Turkey Trot

Went went down South to visit family for Thanksgiving.  CSI was having a 5K Turkey Trot, so Amanda and I decided to run it and burn a few calories before the big meal :)  Thanks to the Daddy's for watching all the kiddos (and Grandma for watching Logan!)  We had a good time, finishing first...oh just kidding.  We had our personal fan club cheering for us which was fun. And our cute kids made it on the evening news!  (Can you tell which one is me? :)) 

Then we had a Turkey Trot for all the kids at home.  Aunt Liz was so kind to lead the kids (and Uncle Paul...kid at heart) in an energizing warm-up.  It was the funniest thing I have ever seen! The kids really got in to it!

The race is on!

I love this picture of Brooklyn and Ryder racing as fast as they could with huge smiles on their faces!  We ended up running quite a few races because the kids had so much fun.  We even ran a mommy/daddy race and Grandma and Grandpa even got in on the action and ran their own race!
